Busy little bee

For the past few days (maybe even weeks) I've been busy getting my hosting company back up. One thing that I really love about the Internet is hosting other people. Helping them getting their website(s) online is one of the things I really like doing, besides coding and writing obviously. I'd like to promote my webhosting company and hopefully you guys will sign up for a package: Silent Web Services. Another Introduction

Since I recently started a weblog again I figured it couldn’t hurt to tell you who I am. Well, my name’s Alvina Sheridan. I’m currently twenty-three years young and live in Dordrecht, the Netherlands. I’m a web designer at Avant Internet BV and work with four other colleagues in Dordrecht as well. Twice a week I go to school in Breda to study IT.
I love my job, it’s definitely something I want to be doing for quite some time. I love developing websites and improving my language skills. All our websites are coded in HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL and a little Javascript. The first four I already knew before starting but Javascript I had to learn there, which I’m still learning by the way. I’ve always wanted to know PHP and my job is an excellent way to get this information. I work four days a week so I have an extra day off to do my homework.
As mentioned above, twice a week I go to school. This are two evenings that I spend from seven to ten learning more about programming. Like previous years in the IT I’m the only woman in the class. I don’t mind this for I rather have only men than only women for they talk way too much. Although I really want to learn more about what I do, I fear that the education’s level is too high for me. Most of the time I’m lost when they talk about something and I spend way too many hours figuring out what I have to do. But, nonetheless, I’ll try and get my diploma in the next three years. (It’s a four years plan and since the first year’s almost over it’s still three years left).
I’m searching for my own place, but unfortunately it’s not going as fast as I want too. Although there are houses available just not the ones I want or am able to afford. When there’s one I can afford, I just don’t get it. But still, this doesn’t make me give up on searching.
In the near future I hope to live on my own, still be a web designer and maybe even have a boyfriend...
